The team organized the community assembly for the “Prioritization of Health Needs” on September 8, 2023. Hypertension, tuberculosis, low income, motor vehicular accidents, acute gastroenteritis, teenage pregnancies, and family planning are some of the issues identified based on our primary data (house-to-house survey) as well as secondary data. As a result, we invited a number of representatives from each Purok to gather, generate ideas, discuss, prioritize, and address the various health problems or determinants that are clearly prevalent in Barangay Mandih, requiring immediate attention.

The purpose of this gathering is to let the locals of Mandih choose to prioritize the top problem(s), and to assist them in generating plans and strategies that have long-term effects, sustainable, and serve as game changers in the community.
